I'm Matthew Tracy — a firefighter with 27 years of service in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, and a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator with Town & Country Mortgage Services. My mortgage career isn't a second chapter — it's something I do alongside my life in the fire service, because I believe in showing up for my community in every way I can.
My path into mortgages grew naturally from a deep passion for helping people. Whether I'm responding to an emergency call or walking a first-time buyer through the loan process, the mission is the same: be there when it matters most, guide people through something complex, and make sure they come out the other side in a better place.
I'm proud to serve all of Illinois and Wisconsin, with a special dedication to the people who make our communities run — firefighters, EMS, law enforcement, teachers, healthcare workers, and military families. Grounded in Community
I've spent my entire life in the northwest suburbs of Chicago — it's home in the truest sense of the word. My wife, a former nurse, is now the heart of our household, raising our four children with the same dedication and care she brought to her patients. Family is everything to me, and everything I do professionally is rooted in the values I hold at home: honesty, commitment, and showing up.
Giving back is simply how I'm wired. Over the years, I've volunteered on fire departments, served with the Boy Scouts, presided over a local ham radio club for seven years, and spent 19 years as an IHSA-certified baseball, softball, and football official — a role I continue to this day. Whether it's donating time, supplies, or expertise, being an active part of my community isn't something I schedule. It's who I am.
